Target Audience

This accredited activity is intended for hematologist/oncologists, APPs, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals involved in the care of adolescent and young adult (AYA) patients with cancer and cancer survivors.

 

    Educational Objectives

    After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

    • Describe care challenges for AYAs as they transition to cancer survivorship

    • Explain the importance of survivorship care, including late effects and how to access long-term follow-up guidelines

    • Identify interdisciplinary care team roles in supporting AYA cancer survivors

    • Review resources to support AYAs with cancer, their caregivers, and healthcare professionals
